for mid t0 late next week. It could get very white around here.... :eek:

From 2 separate forecasts;

"The upside with a storm like this is 12-18 inches of snow with gales along the coast and some flooding problems. The ocean is warm so intensification could be very dramatic."

"The ECMWF snowfall forecast is truly remarkable. A swath of accumulating snowfall extends from southern Mississippi to the northern border of Ohio, and from Maine to the Carolinas. Plowable snow is spread from the Northeast to the Mid-Atlantic, but it is West Virginia and the state of Virginia that gets hammered with as much as 36.6'' of snow.... "

I was working in P'ville today and it started out with super light flurries. I walked outside 5 minutes later and it looked like heavy flurries. Ten minutes later it was over...no accumulation, just stayed REALLY cold for this time of year.....

Heavy flurries in Princeton. It started sticking a little bit on the mulch around the landscaping at my office, but it quickly disappeared.

I was not happy when I left work and felt how cold it was.
