OK, I'll spare any 57 year-old beavers that were here before me!We should all get along with the beaver, after all, they were here first.
With the strong Northwest blow today there are probably waves hitting the upstream face. I can't get back there tonight to look.
Last week I though the road was going to be breeched. The pipes were submerged and water was disappearing in a vortex.
In the last few days, there has been a major cleanup of the beaver deposited materials. The main bog is drained to a trickle and the pipes are functioning. I assume the Forest Fire Service took the action or perhaps Parks and Forestry.
Thanks to the responsible parties, whoever they are.

The FFS has been monitoring this for some time now. They have been out to clear it out a few times. I'm not sure if was them this time or someone from state parks. Also a trapper was working the site during the season but did not get any there. With the beavers still there they are going to have to stay vigilant.
