Music for the day

Alfie, ye whom I fired, but since rehired, I dedicate this to.

I must say you've made a believer out of me after all these years.I must say that I don't doubt for a moment that every critter on that video was real.Beyond that I can't say i seen a single instance of one critter turning into another. The ages flashing on the screen were the hilarious part I just knew had to be in any video you'd send to me.I bbet there wasn't a critter in that video older then me except for maybe the elephant and possibly the humpback. Now the music gave me flashback sweats.Sounded way too much like that crap I used to wake up to 430 am every morning in Damman, Saudi Arabia only the girl singing it did have a much better voice then the old Mullah yelling over the loudspeaker.
If I was a redhead I'd swear me and that Orang were related:-)
Alfie

Literally fell in love with this artist after when she performed this piece on Letterman ... decades ago. I've spent quite some time trying to find a recording to post here from another piece from the same album; it's a simple, beautiful song called Deep Space and it ends this way:

Where the Lord's face
Is an all-night cafe
There's a woman who will wait on
What you have to say
And your dreams are like marbles
In the pocket of a little boy
And they whisper when you hold them
Like a beautiful girl

Happy V Day.
