Here's some local boys from the northern pines. They are called Thomas Wesley Stern. They hail from Jackson Twp and spend a lot of time hanging in the pines. I saw them randomly at a bar once, then checked them out at Albert Music Hall and some other small venues/bars. They quickly became a favorite live act of mine and they are only in their mid-twenties, so I think if they can keep it together they might be one of the better bands to come out of Ocean County. The members also switch instruments and often include the mandolin and accordion.. good stuff.
One of the best bands of the last 15 years.
