Ok. Also have some captions for some of them from what is written on the back of some of the pictures. The guy with the straw hat is Clarence Wolf who was the owner of NJ Silica Sand Co and had the idea to create the Holly Farm. Pretty sure he died in 1966.
Welcome 66C10! As a relatively new member myself (3 months today), I hope that your experience here will be as positive as mine has been so far.
66C10 is my grandson in Law.he is going to send me a bunch more pics so i can flip and resize them.I should have them ready tomorrow night.Some of these are priceless.He has one of the Fries Mill sawmill!
I like how that one guy rigged a tarp up while he was digging by hand (in the photo with the horse).
I attempted to rotate all the photos i took with my phone. If this photo is good then I will continue to upload them in this manner so let me know. If not I will send them to Manumuskin and he will fix them so they are appropriate to upload.

The guy in the lab has a calendar behind him. I think it's May, 1937, the month the Hindenberg was destroyed at Lakehurst.

Here is one 66C10 sent me of Fries Mill Sawmill.This is where I learned to swim and damn near drowned right in front of the camera.You can make out the wheel that drives the saw which would be setting in the raceway

This was stuck in the photo albums as well. With I had the whole thing. 2 months after Pearl Harbor.
The hindenberg went down on Thursday, May 6, and that matches the calendar by day.
Here are some the aerials. Note you can see the Maurice river and the Manumuskin as well as schooner landing rd being the main road into the sand plant. Port Cumberland rd is seen in the distance before Whibco was present. You can see where schooner landing continues past where rt55 is now. I would have to confirm with some other aerial maps of different years. Again most of this is dated 1937 on the back of the photos. There is another trail that seems to go to Barth road? At this time all of the water is on the north side of the railroad tracks.

The aerials are Dallin Aerial Services birds-eye photos. They are also available in the Hagley Digital Collection. (The Hagley might be interested in scanning your album--the original Martha Diary is also deposited there.)
