Pass the Corn Please

The whole article is Hokey.
I too have some experience with swine in my growing years. Some really fun stories from the farm in Elm for another day. I will say, based on my own experience, A Boar, Uncut... (hope I don't have to explain that) I wouldn't have a ton of interest in the meat from it.

There is a whole website dedicated to the kid now called www.monsterpig.com If you read the comments page you'll see that its degenerated into a cultural pissing match perpetuated by suffers of BBIB (Big Brass Internet B---s) syndrome. On one side you have animal rights people connecting this kid shooting a pig with the "evils" of Christianity, the Iraq War, and other nonsense, and on the other side you have people sympathetic to the kid who accuse the animal rights people of being tree hugging godless homosexuals who believe in *gasp* evolution! Man this world is just plain weird sometimes... Oh and ditto on Sue and Largo's comments. There is no way in hell I'd eat one morsel of that thing. I mean if I saw it in the woods I'd most certainly shoot it because I'm sure that at a mere 205 pounds I'd be a light appetizer for that hideous thing.

a swine is very adaptable. only takes a few weeks or less for it to become wild. there are many variations on the species. florida and georgia are loaded with them. they look all warm and fuzzy but they will just as soon ball you over and rip you up. these are different than the austrian-russian-european type hogs.

He had to adapt. That does not mean he was true game though.

Has anyone authenticated this thing yet? I saw some pictures from a different angle which make the hog look MUCH smaller. That coupled with the cheesy website makes me skeptical.
