Philadelphia Dreamin

Dogg:

Interesting column. I do not recall Levy’s article, but I can tell you he has moved up in the world. After leaving the newspaper, he landed a position with Philadelphia Magazine. Following that stint, he came to New Jersey and founded SJ Magazine. He originally wanted to call it South Jersey Magazine, but quickly became entangled in a lawsuit with the folks who purchased the rights to Shirley Bailey’s former publication:

So I guess “hit pieces” can sometimes payoff in furthering one’s own career.

Best regards,

SJ magazine is the worst. It should just be called Voorhees, Haddonfield, Cherry Hill and Marlton Magazine. When looking through it I often have to read the front cover over and over to remind myself that this is SJ. Reading the magazine reminds me of why we went into complete economic collapse a few years back and why we will do it all over again in a couple years.....my generation has tastes and desires that can only be financed with massive debt.
