Third picture down looks like a Robust Conehead.They are loud enough to give you a headache at close range.I found this out while tracking one down Bill was recording and when i stuck my head in the grass next to it instant headache.You can hear them as you drive by fields at high speed.Before we get far into the new year, here are some photos from the second half of the 2017 exploring season. I covered a lot of ground, mainly on the West Wading river, with some excursions on the upper Oswego, Penn State Forest, and Hampton Furnace area. I'm really looking forward to the 2018 season.

Third one from bottom i would guess is a cecropia Moth.
Top one cardinal Flower.One above Bottom is a front foot coon track and below that Sweet pepperbush in flower
