Went down by the water today in Forked River and Waretown. Wind blowing out of the northeast pretty good. No flooding yet as of 7:00 pm

So far this week my instruments only say 1.15 inches since Sunday and .23 since midnight.

Apparently they got the rain forecast wrong, they have dialed it way back now. That wind is really blowing though!

Today: Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Tonight: Rain. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Sunday: Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Really strong winds blowing through Atlantic and Cumberland Counties right now, 50 mph wind is whipping the trees around at my place! (In this image the bright red areas are about 40 mph, hot pink ~50 mph and the light pink around Vineland is ~60 mph)

Wind is much less here than this morning. We have had .77 inches of rain since midnight.

If you watch the radar, the storm is just spinning in place without moving much. It's still centered pretty much where it was in that screenshot from an hour and a half ago - right over my house!

Apparently, there were several new construction homes being built down by the shore that were blown over. They were well into the framing process.

On Saturday morning around 6AM my house was making all kinds of noise from the wind. The steps leading upstairs seemed as if someone was walking up and down them. It matched any other wind event that I can remember.

Here it is 1:40 pm and the winds are still strongly gusting in Barnegat with on and off rain. Quite a storm, really.

And that wind is supposed to just keep a-blowin' - 30 mph gusts on Monday and Tuesday! At least we should see some sun.

Most of the Pines is in the yellow (slight) zone. My home is pretty close to the orange though!

Got nothing here in Forked River, Clouded up around 6:30 with a little sprinkle and a little windy. Right now it is dead calm here.

I really need to count my blessings, because these last two or three fronts that have come through have pretty much missed us, except for a little bit of rain and very little additional wind.

Nothing here again... Kind of missing the rain (garden/lawn), but not the hail that damaged a friends car in Marlton

Here comes the next one, but a little different this time - according to this, the shore has less risk of severe weather. And once again, my home is right on the border between yellow and green. Should be an interesting trip for everyone headed to the shore this afternoon.
