Was down in Millville visiting the east and west bunkers and it did hail around 4:15. I would say they were 1/8 to 3/16 in diameter.

We could certainly use some rain, although in spite of this warning the forecast calls for "less than 1/10 inch". There's a front from about Washington DC to Allentown PA heading East now.

It got real dark here in Lacey around 7:30, thundered and lightning but just a sprinkle for about 2 minutes. I can still hear thunder outside somewhere.

Was out in the woods until 8:00PM and heard the distant thunder, but no rain. Later, at least two fronts roared through here. Got about 1/2" of rain total, was surprised it was that much. Really helped to wash the oak pollen off everything, that has been a real mess this year.

Looks like some real rain may be headed our way soon...

Friday: Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Friday Night: Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Saturday: Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

While we certainly need the rain, I feel bad for all those families with kids that dropped some serious coin to go away for a few days.

For the wife and i, it's not a big deal. A trip to the local diner for breakfast and some binge watching on Netflix.

Here's a NWS summary of the storms on May 26.

Also a cool radar loop. Looks like we missed the worst of this down here in Atlantic County.
