Ruined

UGH! I know the feeling. Some of my previous pets have caused damage to my stuff in the past but none have done more than my sons.

Scratched the side door of my new car (less than a month old) with his bike.
Cost me $300 to repaint door. :x

I just came home to find that my cat had spilled a vase full of water all over my copy of trail of the blue comet, ruining it.:( oh well, $90 down the drain. it's totally ruined.

My cats have a tendency to knock all of my ceramics down. And since most of the floors are ceramic tile, you know how that ends....
They've broken several ceramic trashcans, and two Asian statues that were in my music room.

That's terrible what happened to your book, but..........I have some great news, I saved a ton of money on my car insurance! Tom

Geico? teasing....

I really am sorry. The thought just popped into my head. I would be more than happy to loan you my copy. I actually dried a Beck book in the microwave. It fell out of my car, and sat in the rain for a day. Tom

Well this is going to open me up to all kinds of teasing, but I once had a book called the Landmarks of New York. I sold it on Ebay to get a copy of The Landmarks of New York III. I was reading it one evening and fell asleep. I woke up with my face in it, and I had been drooling in my sleep. It ruined maybe 3-5 pages! Ugg. :x

Wet Comet

Most people do drool at least alittle in their sleep. My pillow has been damp a time or two. LOL. TRA....a million laughs to you LOL. Sounds like the Blue Comets last trail was a wet one!

Well, aside from the back half of the book being warped, it's still readable. Fortunately the pages didn't stick together. So I can finish the book and buy another copy when I get some extra $.
