Hey there -

It seems like my hosting provider might be having issues. The site seems to have been going up and down a lot over the last few days. I've opened up a support ticket to try to see what is going on.

So if the site doesn't load for you try again in a few minutes. It will probably work. Meanwhile I am working on getting it sorted out.

It turns out that the hosting company had some problems with one of their upstream ISPs. I haven't had any alerts recently so I think it's been resolved.

Yeah, one of the tables of the forum database got corrupted due to the site being up and down so often.

The site has been running really slow today. I've traced that back to an issue with a table in the forums database that my anti-spambot system uses. I've fixed that and now it should be running much better.

Thanks Ben. I noticed the site was slow, made a post earlier today and it took a long time to complete. Seems fine now.

There have been changes so you may have had an outing.

I made changes to the site's DNS servers last night. It may have taken a little while for the changes to propagate out to the internet at large.

Must be Fios, Can not get Home page but I can get into the forums

Have not noticed any issues with the forums, but I get the same problem as dogg if I go to the site home page (I am on Verizon DSL). Probably a DNS issue that will take care of itself, as Ben said.

That's my fault. The www DNS entry should start working shortly.

Yes. I forgot the DNS entry for "www.njpinebarrens.com" when I was making changes.

I just wish someone would have told me about it sooner.
