i used to really love snow but im starting to hate snow now maybe because we really dont get much any more lol but if its gonna snow let it snow alot so we can enjoy it , i hate when we only get like 2 inches and it just makes a mess for no reason

From the radar, it looks like the edge of the storm will arrive at my place in about two hours. Bring it on, I'm ready. And it wouldn't take much convincing for me to skip work on Monday either :)

I made the mistake of stopping at the grocery store on the way home tonight and it took forever. You would think the end of the world was approaching; it was packed and people were stocking up on everything.

Latest estimate from the Philly stations is 12-18"+ for us. Lucked out tonight, did not have to go to the airport, folks are taking the shuttle. :D

My younger son graduates from Millersville U tomorrow and I went up last night to truck and trailer all of his life's belongings back home before this hit.

We have to go back tomorrow for the ceremony at 1:00 p.m..
Should make for a scenic drive through the Amish farmlands.

Only about 3" or so here right now, but the wind is getting nasty. Am about to head out on some errands including filling the gas cans for the snow thrower and the generator. After that, I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy being snowbound. :)

[edit]I stand corrected.... maybe 3" on the ground but 6" on my car. At least it's the very light and fluffy kind which is easy to shovel.

Coming down good in Berkeley TWP. , Not a big fan of snow, but I can't wait to get in the woods once this storm blows out of here!

Snowing heavily in Tabernacle at 3:32 Pm, 21 degrees and dropping. I just got done the first plow of the driveway and the the snow was suprisingly wet.
We parked at Hampton Furnace this morning and walked up the skit. We met our neighbors also walking their dog.

Afterwards we went to the Shamong Diner for breakfast. They have a nice collection of Pine Barrens and local history books there for sale. I picked up Boyds Wildflowers of the Pine Barrens.

Now with the snow theme we'll have to decide what to watch tonight , The Shining or The Thing.
