A welcome to the newcomer and a reminder of how long some of you fine folks have been in my life,
Nothing like a little nostalgic stroll through the threads to bring back memories.
Even the ones concerning folks who definitely don't share the passionate like mindedness of all things Barrens in Ben's camp.
This lad was... well, it don't matter.
Thanks Ben for keeping this train running so heck aweful long for our continued enjoyment.
Again thank you Ben for starting this informative forum.
And thanks to the many members who posted pictures and information on the pine barrens.
I would have never traveled to Wharton if I had not read the stories.
My first time in the pine barrens. And I chose the New Jersey pine barrens.
I never visited the Long Island pine barrens by the way.
Which is odd since I live on Long Island.
I saw them in the past through the bus and train windows.
But I was never interested in visiting the pine barrens until I saw this forum.
I will make up for lost time by visiting various pine barrens in New Jersey and New York.
Of course most of my photos will be of New Jersey parks posted here on this forum.
