WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 10 PM
EST WEDNESDAY.
* LOCATIONS...THE EASTERN SHORE OF MARYLAND, CENTRAL DELAWARE AND
SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY.
* HAZARD TYPES...MOSTLY SNOW...THOUGH SLEET MAY MIX IN AT TIMES IN
THE AFTERNOON.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES.
* TIMING...A MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION FROM
THE WEST AROUND MIDDAY AND IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON. PRECIPITATION
MAY BEGIN AS RAIN IN THE CENTRAL DELMARVA AND NEAR THE COAST.
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW AFTER
SUNSET. THE SNOW COULD BECOME HEAVY DURING THE EARLY EVENING
BEFORE TAPERING OFF IN THE MID EVENING.
* IMPACTS...THE COMBINATION OF SNOW AND SLEET COULD LEAD TO ICY
CONDITIONS ON ROADS. THE PERIOD OF HIGHEST IMPACTS COULD INCLUDE
THE EVENING COMMUTE. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO EXERCISE CAUTION.
POOR VISIBILITIES WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE UNDER HEAVIER BANDS OF
SNOW.

* TEMPERATURES...MID 30S IN THE AFTERNOON, DROPPING INTO THE LOWER
