Nothing here. 30% chance of getting less than 1/10" rain today, only a 20% chance tonight. More of the same after that with no relief from the heat in sight until Thursday, and then the high temperatures are only going to drop by about 5 degrees. Reminds me of the extended hot spell we had at this exact same time of year in 2012, but that was much worse because we had just been wiped out by the derecho!
Oh well, nothing to do about the weather (except complain), so I'm heading out for a morning walk before it gets hotter.

Yesterday morning I replaced my brake rotors and a stud on my left front wheel and I was practically dead after we were done. Wiped me out. I think my sweat rusted my new rotors 
... An hour later and it appears to still be drenching that one area in an otherwise dry state.

* Until 800 PM EDT.
* At 354 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.5 inches in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Penn State Forest and Batsto.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around...don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

I'm past due on my oil change that I need to do on my Tacoma. Hoping to do it mid-week, when the temps are only terrible, instead of brutal. Got about 5 minutes of a nice rain in Mount Laurel.
I so hate this type of weather. Can't deal with the humidity very well. I can only wait for the cooler/colder temps to get here in a few months. You'll never hear me complain of it being too cold.

SHORT TERM /FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT/...
Frontal boundary remains along the East Coast into the weekend.
Abundant low level moisture will stream into the Northeast and
Mid-Atlantic with surface dew points well in the 70s and PWATs
in excess of 2 inches. There will be a fair amount of
instability during the daylight hours with SB CAPE values
upwards of 1500 J/kg, but 0-6 km Bulk Shear will be fairly low,
generally less than 20 kt. As a result, can expect heavy rain
and localized flash flooding as storms will be fairly slow to
move and training of storms will develop.
WPC Day 2 Excessive Rainfall Outlook for Friday and Friday
night has a Marginal Risk (1 out of 4) for northern New Jersey
and southeast Pennsylvania and a Slight Risk (2 out of 4) for
southern New Jersey and Delmarva.
The first low tracks along the coast on Friday and departs
Saturday night. A secondary low will follow behind it on
Saturday. Model guidance has it a bit warmer on Saturday
compared to Friday, with highs in the low to mid 80s on Friday
and in the mid to upper 80s on Saturday. The warmer temperatures
on Saturday may give way to a bit more convection.
Total rainfall Friday and Friday night will range from 1 to 2
inches across Delmarva and southern New Jersey, and generally
1/2 to 1 inch for for southeast Pennsylvania and northern New
Jersey. On Saturday and Saturday night, widespread rainfall
should be lower as the secondary low may pass just east of the
local area, with 1/2 to 3/4 inch of rain for Delmarva and
southeast New Jersey and 1/4 inch or so elsewhere.

They have increased the amount of rain in the forecast. 
It's interesting that the area with the heaviest rain is not the same as the area with the greatest projected flood impact. Guess that's due to the greater amount of development in the flood impact area, where more of the ground is covered with buildings and pavement ("urban and poor drainage areas")
