I don’t have my tracks but I entered on 679 and walked the south shore of the merigold lake. Then I continued west through the cedar swamp ( huge mountain laurel in there and an abundance of partridge Berry)
Then cut south to the “airplane”.
Then west to mink path road. There is an overgrown trail on the south side.
The banks of the airplane are thick and wet. It looks to be a spung but the shape is very un-spungish. It was a little tough in knee highs to investigate it closely from the ground.
Perhaps it was a spung that was distorted from past human activity.
