Sorry, wrong place.

FYI, that property was a chicken farm owned by Ed Greaves. I spelled his last name correctly. It is not Graves as I always thought. He acquired that property on April 6, 1966 from a man named C. C. King from Millville NJ. A quick check of that name will bring you to a C. C. King Masonry and Steel Supply company in Millville. The C. C. King who owned it is long dead and the current owners did not respond to my emails to try to find out if it may have been him. In any event, on May 22, 1978 Ed Greaves drew up a will that upon his death the property would go to Martha P. Hutchinson of Eastover, South Carolina. Most likely a sister but I may be wrong. And she exercised that right on December 2, 1987 and sold all of his property there to the State of NJ for $29,651.40.

If you look over that property on HistoricAerials it appears there was a building there as far back as 1931. If C.C. King lived there at one time or used the property he may have built some of the dwellings. Ed Greaves did not come to that location until later so it is uncertain how much of the construction he actually did. I could tell you more but I did not acquire that info so I will not mention what I know.

Here are the exact locations of the properties he owned. The gaps between the lots are "paper" roads that almost every tract of land in that area has. We actually have access to almost all of the land in that area be it public or private by using those invisible roads. They range from 50 feet wide to 66.

Take notice in the bottom rectangle that the cut property line on the right side does not follow the actual line I have on there. I can bet you that either Ed Greaves or C.C.King used a compass to cut their property line proving that magnetic north just does not cut it. If you look closely you can see the line extends up into the third block from the bottom almost missing their property line by half. Many gun clubs in that area made the same or similar mistake and had their building on the neighbors property. That is a story for another day.

Guy,thanks for the info, I was out there on 11/13 and took some pictures.
I was wondering what the place use to be, I was thinking it was a cranberry packing
operation or something like that.

A clue to my photo with Ben and Jessica. I am betting that most everyone on this site who explores has been to this location. Just think of one of the most popular places around there and you should know the place.

Bob,

Nobody must have any idea where it is. Can you give us a clue?
