Where is this?

I did not know immediately but had a pretty good idea where to look. Found it quickly on the map. Kinda feel like I cheated. The small north-south running creek seems too straight to be natural. Any idea if it was dug?
Where is this now? Another very aggravating closure. I use this road at least a couple times yearly, and NOBODY was abusing it. Makes me sick to my stomach to see this happening.
So if you follow Landing Creek upstream to where it passes under Clark's Landing Road there is some sort of wooden structure or bulkhead. It is clearly visible from the road. Does anyone know the history of that structure?
This area below? From the street view it's tough to see anything but swamp, unless I'm missing something.

That is the area. South side of the bridge. I don't think I ever took a picture.
Good question. I've wondered about that in the past and thought it might have to do with the cranberry operation. But maybe it has something to do with construction of the road? I will take a gander tommorrow, as I will be in the area.
Thanks for checking it out. I was surprised to discover that the road was only built in the 1930s. At first I hypothesized that the woodwork might have supported an earlier bridge but topographic maps and aerial imagery appear to disprove this idea.
If my travels take me to River Road Clam House this weekend, I will take a little detour and give it a look too.
It has some raised edges. So, suppose someone like Charlie Weber was basing his couple of horse or mule wagons there while he cut, and wore down the area with his loaded wooden(?) wheels, which also raised the edges?
You know, there are more blooms. I wonder if the land changes as the water is pulled out?
Spoil piles from dredging?
