Well, it is on the property of those who schedule and perform that task. I'm not upset about it being there when you consider it could be the fancy of a girl or woman who enjoys it. It's right next to the road.Nothing a Rx burn can’t fix
This one? Heres a clue. There are 2 streams that each empty their own water body to go under the hard road (said road only 140 feet from the the water bodies). The streams, as they go under the road separately, are about 1,500 feet apart. They join together about 1,800 feet SE of the road.

There are Pine Barrens in Cape May County; amber colored cedar streams, pitch pine, copius mountain laurel, and sandy substrate. Maybe one of you southern men can tell me where this is in Middle Township, Cape May County.

You should change the post to where was this! That is the original gate house and residence of the first pheasant farm in NJ. If I remember the story correctly they got someone from Scotland to come over in the early 1900s and start it up. I used to go there a lot as a kid and was friendly with the caretakers in the 80s. They showed me the building where they would incubate the eggs and such. It was a pretty neat operation. Sometimes we would go and open the doors to the pheasant cages but the birds would usually not leave. My biggest issue was the handing over of state property to the feds. You are now not allowed to walk back there past a certain point. It is all no unauthorized entry unless you are a hunter and only during the season.

Those are the coops we would leave open as kids. The metal roofed pieces held the feed.
Sadly, It doesn't look like that anymore. The coops are mostly collapsed and the fields are so overgrown
