Great day for sure. I still have that knife I found. And I fixed the photo that did not work.
So, when are we going again?

I visited the camera again today. I wanted to explore the area and see why it may have been there other than the obvious. From what I can tell it most likely is just to monitor who goes in or out and not to protect anything special other than the roads.

We walked over 3 miles following roads, firebreaks and animal trails.

Smooth eggs in two different locations both quite remote and not near roads.

I guess the hunter(s) felt they were deep enough to not bolt them down. Two at one location.

Even another one semi nearby.

Spring is here.

They are not on or visible from any trail. I don’t know the exact route of the trail but we traveled all around the area the camera’s were at and there was no trail nearby.

I just looked up the Penn Bike Trail and we did cross it twice while walking. However, it is not close to the camera's. I did notice a well worn trail when we were walking down the firebreak to our vehicle, and looking at the map it was the Penn trail. We also I see crossed it on the road in from the gate.

So are you thinking they may have closed the roads to protect the bike riders as well as to keep vehicles out?

I took close up photos of the camera at the gate on Tuckerton near Carranza and the camera is upside down. It is old and most likely not working. You can see the sticks behind it propping it forward.

I just looked up the Penn Bike Trail and we did cross it twice while walking. However, it is not close to the camera's. No I think they are there just to keep vehicles out
