Forked River
So much for conservation! Was there a strom or high winds through the area? The sign is down, some dead trees in the background are missing and the cross tie on top of the pole was changed.

There was a fire a short while back so maybe it damaged the wires or poles.

Seventeen years ago and one month today. This was right across the street from Dutchtown on 206. You can still see where it was in the tree. I have to assume someone took it out. In 2005 when the photo was taken the Wagon Wheel restaurant was in operation across 206.

I was able to jack the car up and place items under the wheel and drive right out.

That car would never get stuck as long as the bottom didn't drag. It was dragging there. I just scraped away the sand under it.

In that amount of time from today, I will be 81. I have a lot to do in the coming years and am trying right now every weekend to do it.

On 9/4/2004 we visited this water gage shelter along the Batsto Fireline road. It was unlocked. So I reported it to Robert Schopp who was running the operations for the state. At about the same time period Ben found the water gage shelter at Mount knocked over. So I reported both issues to Robert Schopp. He wrote me back saying this.

Guy,
They repaired the Mount well shelter. Thanks to you and your friend for
letting us know about it. I don't think we have located the well shelter
near the Mullica gage that you reported unlocked. Do you use a GPS? The
latitude and longitude would help locate which one it was.

Bob

I had failed to get a GPS coordinate so on 10/2/2004, 18 years ago today, Jessica and I returned.

I was volunteering for the USGS at that time and they gave me a hat.

2005 was another dry year. This was 17 years ago yesterday in the channel of the Pole Branch where the Lawrence Line crosses said branch.
