Last time I was there I could still smell diesel. It's been parked there since the 70's.Don't that stuff ever evaporate?
I love that second winter picture Scott. Getting up early to be in the woods at sunrise or staying late for sunset is hard but worth it.Last time I was there I could still smell diesel. It's been parked there since the 70's.Don't that stuff ever evaporate?
Thanks Jon. I have hundreds of pictures from that exact spot. It’s a ten minute walk from my front door and I’ve been going back there almost daily for the last 38 years.I love that second winter picture Scott. This was taken with a Minolta Dimage S414. I 'borrowed" it from work. 4 MB, From 2001.

This is what I got when I clicked on properties. But in looking at it, no way could it have been 24 Feb. I'll check around.Nitpicking, but it couldn't have been an S414 in 2001, maybe an S304 at 3.3MP? Or more likely this is actually from 2003 or so? Either way, you had access to something a lot better than I had.
I really wanted a Dimage 7 back then but it was far, far outside my price range.
