    Discard Electronics Intelligently

When I think of TVs dumped in the woods the first thing I think of is the smashed TV at Apple Pie Hill. Or maybe it's a new TV each time. Although it was pretty clean the last time I was there.

Ok thanks! I've always done the trails in sections but in the spring I plan to thru-hike the entire thing in one shot.

    Batona Trail Re-route

Is the new route completely blazed now? And as for the old route, did they remove the blazes in some form or put up a sign saying to not take the old route?

    Glass at Batsto

I went to Batsto yesterday, and the hurricane a few months apparently flooded some of the ground and washed up old glass from the glass factory that once stood on the site there. Between the old sawmill building and where the factory once stood is where to look for the glass. Little pieces are...

    Where is the Shrouds house??

I've lived in Williamstown since 2002. I know of 3 cemetaries here. The one with the oldest graves are behind the First United Methodist church on Main Street. Its the tallest building on the street, you can't miss it. There is also a smaller patch of graves across the street on the right side...

    Where is the Shrouds house??

I finally found the depression in the hole from the Shrouds House today. A tree seems to have collapsed across the hole as well. And about 40 feet away is a tree stand. There was a couple of bricks in the hole and some glass jars as well. Lots of thorns getting back there. My friend was bit by a...

    'Ghost of the Pines' documentary

Anyone know if there is any type of foundation of any buildings left at Crowleytown/Crowley's Landing?

    'Ghost of the Pines' documentary

I've been to the picnic area/boat launch multiple times. One time my friends and I sat out there one night and some boat kept randomly shining its lights at us. So we shined our high beams back at them. I wish I knew where some of the buildings/houses stood around there.
