I worked in a bike shop in the late 80's early 90's when mountain bikes were first becoming popular. They are much different today. I still have mine from back then. I kind of like the idea of these fat tire ones. Getting caught in sugar sand was never any fun

I do a lot of driving. Boyd is right in NYC little phases them. The truckers on the highway though are banding together. If they see someone texting they get along side and blow their horns. I've seen this several times and seems to be effective.

Thanks John, It shouldn't come as a surprise that these roads are in disrepair. I would consider it a win only if it works. Unlike the original MAP I believe this has a chance.
