It is scary. I've got a few friend there as well. I believe the road is still out there as well. If it is that would have meant that Waterford Township FD wouldvhave had to go through Shamong to get there. There could have been a long response time.

The lake itself is the boundry between Burlington and Camden counties (The Mullica River). The camp ground is on the Burlington county side.

Judging by all the powder in the picture it looks like someone dumped a bunch of dry chemical fire extinguishers on it before the FD arrived.

Are you talking about the Feedstrip Road. It connects Hay road to Devoius Mount Road just south of Jemima? I don't see that in the topo.
