dogg, The trap was a turtle-tunnel without the floater. Probably about 8 inches in diameter and 2 ft. long. It had been there without being checked for awhile. One of us noticed the edge of it sticking out of the water. Didn't seem big enough for snappers, unless they were catching small ones.

A friend asked for help with flagging at an intersection and I offered.....slapped myself for not stopping at Scott's for refreshments afterwards......I (wo)manned Chew Rd. and RR with flags and 4 yds. of orange clothing! Picked up 3 bags of trash to boot. All is well.
