    Buzby's is up for sale.....

Judging from the pictures the living space looks real nice. She did a nice job restoring the building. It would be awesome to own a place with history like Buzby's! Chris

    Buzby's is up for sale.....

I wonder if that was the case if it would get enough traffic through the doors to turn a profit and keep it open. It would be cool to see it as a true general store again. I would like to see the Bamber Lake general store open again as it was when I was a kid, I miss that place. Chris

Springtime On The Tulpehocken, A PBX Hike

Scott and I had the same issue, Guy and Bob would float right over it and we would step foot in the same spot and sink almost over the boot! I tried to get video of your crossing Al but I could not get my camera over to video in time. Chris

Springtime On The Tulpehocken, A PBX Hike

We got to see some real pretty country on this hike and Bob had the timing perfect, the weather was great, the flowers were in bloom and we beat the pine fly egg hatch! A very large savannah we came to in the very first part of the hike. A tributary of the Tulpehocken that has no name. A...

    Jersey Sore

Nice! The Highlands of New Jersey are just as beautiful as the Pines! I lived up there for a few years before I made my way to South Jersey. My home in the Highlands was more rural then my home in Vermont. Let the haters be haters! A lot of them most likely wouldn't appreciate the wild side...

    Paddle anyone?

I'm game. The weekend of the 4th-5th is bad for me due to other obligations and the weekend of the 25th-26th is bad for me also. I am open any other weekend. Try to plan a Sunday trip if you can so Gabe can go with us. Chris

    Bears out and about

I wonder if this is the same bear that the state moved out of Mercer County a few weeks ago? I read that the Division of F&G released the bear into a wildlife management area in Central Jersey. I think that would have been Assumpink, Colliers Mill or Turkey Swamp. Chris

The Bloody Shane, A PBX Hike

Jeff really put together a great hike for us! The weather was perfect! We saw some real nice country along the Shane Branch. It was one wet hike! Hippers were a must for this one! Towards the head waters of the Shane. The Shane flowing through the cedar. Guy loves his treestands but this...

    Spring Turkey season

Mike, Are you going to hunt before school with having a weekday permit? I am going to try Greenwood this Saturday morning, I can only hunt until about 8 due to having other plans for the day. My spring birds have all been shot before 7 am. I am not losing out with only a 2.5 hour hunt. Yeah...

    NJ targets southern pine beetles

Would't this be the same as cutting down trees infected Asian longhorn beetles and just letting the cut wood lay there? Chris

    Plant (something) ID

Good info Spung Man! Rust will not harm the health of the tree only its looks. I wish I could tell some of my customers that there is no need to treat for rust and scab on crabs, but when they sink 100 plus grand into their landscape on their estate in Rumson they settle for no less then trees...

    Plant (something) ID

Your crab is most likely infected. Once you see the damage on the crab it is to late to control. I treat at bud break with a contact and systemic fungicide mix and follow up with a second applicatio 4 weeks later and it holds the disease at bay. Chris
