Thats cheap! I may buy one. I want to get a second digital. Most years I have two cameras out. One digital and one 35mm. My 35mm cost to much to use all the time. I would spend the extra money on a security box. Chris

How did Mike and Hank make out? Summer bow opens tomorrow. I may go hunt in Monmouth County tommorow afternoon if it is below 75 at 3 pm. I have never hunted the early archery season. Most of the time the the first two weeks of fall bow doesn't feel like hunting weather. Chris

    Exploding Deer Population

I wouldn't say full. You wouldn't find many saplings in a mature cedar swamp due to the lack of sunlight at ground level. Not true. I know of an area that has alot of young cedar. It was logged off in the 80's. I have been watching them grow. The area has never had a fence. young...

    fishing on labor day

The weeds can be an issue in the summer. I have had some of my best pickerel fishing in the winter when the weeds are not an issue. One place I like to fish is almost impossible in the summer due to the weeds. I will not fish there untill Thanksgiving. A late witer pickerel from the spot I...

    Exploding Deer Population

The Pines is actually a poor habitat for whitetail deer. In areas of the country that have large tracts of unbroken forest have some of the lowest deer per square density. I do not think we will ever have a population high enough in the Pines were you would see s browse line. Whitetails need...
