I know that area and pit very well. There is some nice uplands woods in there, very wild and thick behind the pit. I used to assume it was part of Greenwood WMA. Fair is fair but I sure wish it ended up as part of Greenwood. Jeff

I used to find shark teeth all the time when I was a park ranger in Monmouth county. There were tons in this one section of a small neglected stream. I will find some of them and compare and report back soon. I'm pretty sure that is what it is (if not the Jersey Devil) Jeff

Yeah I've noticed this also, and I have had bait taken with no shots. However, in the great swamp, the bait was never touched. Jeff

Remember that ORV people are not really one massive organized group. It is better to think of them as individuals. You most certainly don't have to sympathize with someone who rides around in vernal pools with 44" tires. But you might find it easier to understand someone who likes to ride on...

I have placed a stealth cam in the great swamp three or four times. Baited with everthing from chicken left overs to ham. The locations were remote. I even placed one near a watering hole with coyote tracks around it. Nothing. Jeff
