    some ferocious birds

Summerbug what kind of work you in, if you don't mind me asking? I love the norther harriers they are the easiest hawk to photograph because they seem to not mind hunting when people are around. I've seen a few hunting rodents along salt marshes in cumberland county. As for the ospreys they...

    More pictures

Summerbug, it is very tough to see a otter during the day, I have seen two one swimming and one diving in the water off a downed tree. They are suppose to be active during the day but only if it is a undisturbed area. You can normally find there tracks and scat in the same spot over and over...

    Barrens of fire

It was interesting I was watching channel six news and they were showing pictures of the burned area. You could hear the birds chirping and singing, they showed some deer foraging the burned remains also, now its time for the pines to rebuild, neat to seen how hardy nature is.

    Barrens of fire

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a good thing for the pines to burn. I realize some people homes may be endanger, but just looking at the pines isn't it essential for the flora and fauna. I thought i read somewhere that overtime without fire it would turn to a oak forest.

I know after that fire is out I'm going to check out the area. Pine snakes should like freshly burned forest. I kind of want to check the area out I would think around the perimeter of the area many animals and reptiles would be out trying to get away from the fire. Thanks Guy not sure if I'm...

    Croc sighting reported in Haddonfield

I would say depending on the size of the trap they could be for snappers. If the river was moving fast I doubt they were for spotteds....but other turtles is a very real possibility and illegal to my knowledge. if you guys ever see anything suspicious out there report it. I know in the past...

    Croc sighting reported in Haddonfield

Turtles that get poached are done so by collectors who keep them as pets. Alot of these guys breed them and sell the offspring. Some guys just take a few here and there to keep genetic diversity in their offspring so things don't become too imbred. Some assholes take it a step further and...
