    Who owns your photo's?

hmmm, interesting. I wouldn't care if a photo of mine, one of public land, that I made available on the internet was used by someone else. However, photos of people seem different. I thought it was illegal to use someones likeness without their permission, and it kind of seems like it should...

Looking for an old film on the Jersey Devil...

There is a Jersey Devil film that sounds like you what you are describing. It is called "Mother Leeds 13th Child" I think. Anyway, it used to be available at the Medford Pinelands library. They had it on VHS converted from16mm I guess. Jeff

    Coyote encounters- Crossley Clay Pits

That is pretty cool. Was only one coyote seen? They would typically hunt deer in a small pack. It is possible that the lone coyote was chasing the deer to an ambush. Jeff

    Saw my first coyote.

Behind the hunting club on the curve of route 532. Between there and the Batona camp ground. He jumped out of the woods in front of my truck, ran in front of me for a bit and then back into the woods again. Jeff

I should have sprayed my bag with permethrin!

The prolonged itching is usually the result of a secondary infection from scratching the bites. ChiggerX or chigger rid will help (alot). Also, if you make it to the beach, the ocean water seems to kill the itch and speed recovery for some reason. Good luck. Jeff

Mullica River Down by the Forks

I would say that it is because they usually get on around your lower legs and then find no reason to go upward beyond your waist. That being said, I have come back with chigger bits on my arms and torso after riding on tight enduro trails, where they tend to initially get on a bit higher up...
