Oct 28 9:45 6th annual PINE BARRENS 4 WHEEL DRIVE CLEANUP

Mark, Not a lift. Bone stock. Solid front axle with a Dana 60. Bomb proof setup. One of the main reasons I bought an F-350. Rides as plush as a handtruck.

You will be fine with 2WD, just ask Largo. (See the picture of his 2WD S-10 in my previous post) In addition, you will likely go out with a group and somebody is always available to give you a nudge or a pull. I always have a strap and shackles with me.

Actually my 97 F-350 is a regular cab 8' bed and goes down any trail that your wang chung truck will. :) It will do it while carrying an FJ and towing one behind it. :) It sold for $19,800 brand new in October 1997, which I know is a lot less than your wang chung. :( I ordered it with a 5...

I should have sprayed my bag with permethrin!

I really don't think there is immunity to the bites but some people react more intensely and for longer periods of time. My bites flare for about 4 days and disappear after a week or so. The problem is getting a new batch before the others are done. After duct taping them off the other night...

Bob That Yota of yours is as nicely equipped as I would want for the big woods. It will probably still be running when you retire. As much as I dislike foreign anything, you can't seem to kill them Ginsu trucks. Both of my sons have them. However, I will never buy one (American pride) and...

    Coyote encounters- Crossley Clay Pits

They are out there but in the deep woods, they are a lot more reclusive and less likely to resort to kid snatching, pic-a-nic basket (Yogi Bear) rummaging and other undesireable behavior. If you encounter them, they will do what you saw, bolt. The ones I have seen are in overdrive by the time I...

You can't lease a WMA . You can get limited permission to do certain other sporting activities. Here is a link to what you can do: http://www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/wmaregs.htm The clubs hammer the Hammonton WMA all season long so it may appear that they have "leased" it.

    Lower Bank, Green Bank

The new owner hasn't changed a thing except that he offers a little more variety including shrimp, conch, mussels, scallops etc. I still call it Cavileer's and its always a good run in the winter time to clam up and go home and have some homemade wine and clams. Old man Cavilleer always had a...

The River Road Clam House is on the river at the bend in River Road about 300 yards west (upstream) of the Pacemaker plant. It has a boat ramp on the water across from it. As for the flounder question, yes you can be fined as soon as you cross the state boundary which is the delineated...

The "technology" really isn't changing much. The biggest improvement in operation of handhelds over the last 10 years has been the change to 12 channel receivers and the incoporation of the chartplotter into the units. I still have my first handheld, a Magellan 315 8 channel non-chart plotting...

Jim You should have wheeled in to the river Road Clam House while you were there. I have been going there for 25 years and the new owner Gary, who took over after Horace Cavileer died, has really done a good job keeping it going. He sells day boat scallops that are almost as big as hockey...

Jeff Although the 60 CSX is twice what you want to pay, I would wait a little and save your pennies and get that unit. I have been using it offshore all summer with the Bluechart chip and it is great. 2 double "A" batteries last up to 30 hours too which is amazing given the color display. I...

    Sandy Ridge Wading Harrisville

The active club on the right is Buck Run. I know a few former members and a couple current members. The caretaker at my sportsmen's club used to hunt out of the one on the left. I will see him this Thursday night and ask him what it was named.

A question for long time cherry hill residents

In 1930, based upon NJDEP aerials, it was adjoining the old railroad in the location of the current tracks today. The 1930 aerials show a few farmhouse type structures and farm fields. My sister worked for Hussman right next door in the late 60's.

    Wild Cherries

I know a local guy that used to make wild cherry brandy by saturating them in PGA (pure grain alcohol) and making a mash. That was some fine drinkin' there.
