Actually its not difficult at all. Many if not most of the established roads can hold water for quite a while. Hitting puddles at 20mph can made things appear worse than they really are.

I don't ride quads (ATV's?) or dirt bikes but if I understand your position Russell, you are saying that the minute I park my street legal dual sport and climb aboard my ATV (Quad?) I will lose all respect for the land and mankind?. Sorry but that is convoluted logic at its finest.

i didn't get down there until noon so the groups were already underway. I ventured down rockwood road, grabbed a couple of spackle buckets from the ditch along the road and filled them up with litter on my way back to 206. By 4:30 the pics above are evidence of what was pulled from the woods...

other than the usual bottles and cans did you see much trash? I am out there frequently and don't see much at all east of 206. about all i've come across is a very old bottle dump but its a long way from atsion.

thats a yucca plant. not indigenous to the pines. you will see these from time to time and its a good clue to do further investigating.
