Personally, I'll pass, but this is a nice change of policy for Microsoft. I just got a new machine with Windows 7 Professional and it does everything I need, although it also included a full Windows 8.1 install disk. If I ever do decide to upgrade, I would probably skip directly to Windows 10...

Just announced today. They have basically put all the features of their handheld devices into a (large) watch, including 8GB of memory. Doesn't interest me personally, but kind of a cool product. I question how useful a topo map or satellite image would be on a 205x140 pixel screen...
