Nice! Somehow, I missed that thread. But you stated the dam broke in 1939. The so-called 1940 aerials still show it however. Is that evidence that these aerials could be older than 1940 (see my post here, I think they are pre-WWII) or could the dam have broken later?

As posted in this thread, I have just uploaded 1940, 1957 and 1963 aerials of Atlantic County. The coverage is very limited - they're the smallest maps in the system - but there are some real gems here IMO. The 1940 aerials are more like I wished the 1930's aerials were, with much better detail...

Here it is in 1957. You can see a long, narrow building at the camp location and it looks like Horace Patten's house is still standing. But just about all of the secrets are revealed on the 1940 aerials! :clint:

I assume that is this place? It shows two rows of buildings. What does NYA mean? You can see one large slab/foundation on the LIDAR, maybe a couple buildings on the 1970 aerials, but they aren't very clear

I really don't know, but with almost a $1000 annual savings for the same coverage, it's hard for me to believe there isn't something very different between those companies. Unfortunately, you may not find out what that is unless you need to file a claim. But hopefully that will never happen.
