    Ever been to the Zoo? Remember when the ducks, geese, deer, etc. walked around outside with the people? No more. Nearly everything is confined now, except those peacocks.

    I found Hampton Furnace by mistake 2 years ago. Someone told me about foundations off Rt. 206 (which I later found out was Atsion). All he said was to take a dirt road...never mentioned which one. Well, we took the wrong one, but we did find Hampton and the Carranza Monument.

    I came upon this lil' guy while looking for an abandoned house near OCC last summer. If you look at the pic, you see there are many, many mosquitoes on it. There were also more flying around it. Any reason this turtle has had the first circle of hell inflicted upon it?

    Trestle near Hebrew Park

    I had heard about an old trestle behind Hebrew Park in Forked River/Bayville, and I finally found it today. One half of it's badly burnt. I can't find any info about it or if it even has a name. I just know it's a local swimming hole. Anyone know what I'm talking about or know anything about it?
