I keep finding things to add to pros and cons about KY. This is definitely a CON for NJ. And a PRO for KY! I came from a law enforcement background and had to jump through hoops to get a carry in NJ (I had one in NY). I move here to KY and go to register my gun and they basically say....nope...

I just want to say thanks to all the wonderful people here on this site! I have been in NJ since 1997, discovering and enjoying both this site and the Pine Barrens since 2005 or so. I was a city (NYC) girl and the pines change my life for the better. This site has always been there to offer...

I just acquired 3 Delorme atlases. New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland/Delaware. I planned on taking them to the flea market tomorrow, but decided to give you guys first shot at them. They are not brand new, but are in great shape. $10 each or all three for $25. If anyone here is interested...

Plus bats require a hibernation temp that has to be below 50(?) or so. It should be a stable temperature with no change for a while. Considering how weird our temperature has been lately (60+ today?), I can see the bats not going into hibernation yet. I am by no means an expert, just ran into a...

Bats are fine here. WNS can not survive over 70 degrees, so is limited to mainly bats in caves.....
