Swiping cranberries 1972 - just a handful! That's what i was doing another time when the cropduster biplane came by and strafed me with bug spray. After that I quit the cranberry racket.

Unspecified place in 1980...u can c it wasn't always flooded because there were trees in the water...but i don't remember exactly where it was. It was right by where we parked.

I used to paddle those PB rivers in either a rental canoe or my own inflatable kayak. I don't recall ever seeing any garbage on the rivers. John McPhee said the tea colored water was all drinkable, but i don't think i ever did it, maybe i did once or twice...
There didn't seem to be much (any) interest (except for my rare Friendship photo - which reminds me I was supposed to call back that lady at that Jersey college about it) so i took down a bunch of them, plus i don't know that i wanted to post them all anyway, plus i probably posted some of them...
I never knew that. It wasn't so marked on the maps I had (geo. survey map and Esso or Mobilgas free road map). It was my favorite entry to the PB. GW Bridge > NJ Tpk > Freeway > Rt 72 west

I had 13 photos of the old dwarf forest (that I first learned of in John McPhee's book) that I was going to attach but the attach files feature doesn't seem to be working for me now...and I saw an "attach multiple files" button before but now i don't...
