    Croc sighting reported in Haddonfield

Is it legal to set turtle traps and leave them for days at a time?

    Croc sighting reported in Haddonfield

dragon, I once found about eight traps on the Batsto river which I assumed to be for the purpose of trapping turtles. I found two dead baby red bellied sliders inside a couple of them. Do you think whoever set the traps was out to make a buck?

    Stone bridge on the Mullica

I see no reason to think that this site had anything to do with this. Ben, the good your site does for the pines far outweighs the bad.

    Stone bridge on the Mullica

Ben, you make a good point, but I don't know that the bridge was specifically targeted. I also saw "nice" spray painted on a bulkhead that belonged to a friend of my family who recently passed away. The scumbag even spray painted a wooden post and secured it deep in the mud - a marker for all...

So where is it? Or is it best kept secret?

    Stone bridge on the Mullica

Took a paddle on the river today. Some asshole spray painted "nice" on the bridge ruins. Not very nice at all. I wonder if there is a good way to remove the graffiti. May the Mullica drown whoever did this.

    Help ID an old strutcture

KCB, the whole area is generally surrounded by higher ground, so it would have been frequently wet. Did you notice the slight descending ditch which borders the reedy area? The fences, I presume, would have have served to keep wildlife away from the crops (whatever crops were grown there)...

    Help ID an old strutcture

I visted the site in question today. Jokerman is right: This place was farmed (I found the remains of some old plows) and it looks like it was only abandoned a few decades ago. Does anyone know when the state purchased this tract of land?

    Panther sighting ?

hmmmm.... Maybe it was a house cat. http://www.dbeyr.com/worlds_largest_cat.html Looks like I could be the biggest egghead of em all. but it still does appear rather large, even for a large house cat. Maybe its father was a bobcat? Maybe I need to go to sleep.

    Panther sighting ?

Looks to be the width of my thigh (edit: I meant to say my lower leg - I'm getting sleepy). How are you seeing it?
