Land clearing near AC international airport

Yeah, that must be it. In my mind I saw it right before the resevoir on my right while heading south. I was just off.

Land clearing near AC international airport

Wait, maybe I'm wrong. I assumed it's at the eastern edge of the AC International airport runway. I'll pay better attention when I go past this week.

Land clearing near AC international airport

I see it mentions AC airport. Did you see what they are doing down there? They cut forest all the way to the Parkway. Must be expanding runway space.

    Cape May County Explorations

I'm doing plant surveys. I was able to get a permit from USFW to go on the Cape May Wildlife Preserve. Thousands and thousands of acres. It's exciting and gratifying.

    Time Saver

Boyd, I want to thank you for putting the property lines into your Maps. It saved me a lot of time and aggravation. I just got another survey to do; 5 different lots totaling 500 or so acres. So there!

Next time your buddy brags about his $2M house, tell him: "Oh yeah, well I looked at your house on Lidar, and it's just a blob of clay, same as the rest of us. You ain't nothing special".

    A big tree

I'll have to familiarize myself with them more. That is a very squat cone. I will keep an eye out for them.

Ron, from today in Cape May County. What do you think? I'm thinking very young Q. falcata.

    A big tree

I dug out the leaves German. I'm going with Populus grandidentata. The young leaves are tomentose beneath, and the Quaking aspen is glaucous beneath with finer marginal teeth.
