Visiting the property corners of the Oswego Gun Club

It is an interesting phenomenon. You can see in Historical Aerials that in 1970 it was a normal area, but in the 1995 aerial it went bad.

    Where is this?

Ed, if you are beginning to document bridges as a kind of hobby, that's pretty cool. Send me a PM if you like, and I'll let you know where it is.

Visiting the property corners of the Oswego Gun Club

Great report Guy, wish I could have gone too. Nice photos Ben. Guy, regarding that area that was real tough going. I was in the exact same type over by Davenport Branch earlier this spring. It was very, very tightly packed together scrub oak, as is yours. It took me 20 minutes to go 100 yards.

    Saturday morning Nov 19

In the new land purchased by NJCF in Mount Misery, the beavers have also created a lot of flooding, undermining long-standing trees. Many of you may know the pristine stream that comes from a beautiful area upstream of the lake by the conference center. The first 100 yards of that stream are...

Yes, Ed is correct. The flooding from dams undercuts the roots, and in a hard rain, it exacerbates the problem. The first photo is clearly slack water created by dams.

    Great Resource for Property Ownership

My property sold for $1 too, ten years ago. Believe me, it was no deal.

    Zeppelin at Lakehurst N.A.S

No. 258 is interesting. It shows the workers' cars all in the hanger parked (never do that today). It's a shot seldom seen--that all the workers drove almost similar cars due to the sparse models to choose from. 90% if not all look like Model A Fords.

Man Killed In Burlington County Hit-And-Run

Hmm. Mark and I were out in the FPP in Chatsworth this summer, and this man came up to us and started chatting. I think I asked him his age, and I think he was 60. He live on 532 towards Whitehorse and seemed a good guy. I hope it wasn't him.

    Landscaping company taking flora

???? They must have a permit, or are doing work on behalf of the state. I can't believe they'd do this in the open like that. Good of you to get the tags and report it. Why do you think they might not have gone after them? We can't have that corrupt of a system.

Great photos. At first I thought it was at the intersection of 539 and 72. I know where chicken bone is. Were you close to that ridge?
