By the way, we found something disturbing that we forgot to meniton. We found a fawn that had been split open from stem to stern and completely gutted by a human. The entrails were neatly piled up about 3 feet behind the fawn, and the fawn was lying on its side, fully intact. All is not right...

That was a weird experience. We were going through a leatherleaf bog that was very deep. I saw the plants moving ahead of me and wondered what it was. It turned out to be a raccoon we startled. I called for Al to come catch it!

One of the things we all have to do is to guard our freedom of access to all the sand roads like pit bulls. Everytime I travel to another nearby state I marvel at the restricted access. I don't ever want to live like that.
