There is a fire in Vinland causing problems on 55. That seems far away for them to be racing so there must be something going on closer.

I imagine it exposed the rock pile south of Coyle Field Guy? The mystery pile we have discussed before.
I looked on the video online and they did not go that far with the drone. I did see something that looked like a burned car but that most likely was my imagination. I will see if I can find it again on the video.

I looked and it most likely is not a car.

I most likely will not have time to get there this weekend. Too many other fish to FRY out there.

I've often wondered when viewing an aerial of a wildfire the narrow streaks or bands of trees that survive the crown fire. I'm sure the underbrush is burned. Then you see tiny "islands" of trees with green crowns while all the surrounding is scorched earth. I'm not talking about swamps or water courses.

If I were to bet on it, I'd say its due to the wind of the day combined with the heat rising. It may have something to do with the fire sucking up all the oxygen out of the air so quickly that some areas are left without one of fire's 3 essential ingredients.
