It is downright dangerous outside up here. We had sleet, then freezing rain that put a nice coat of ice down, changed to heavy snow, just enough to cover it. Its sleeting now and slippery as walking on eels. Tomorrow should be interesting.

As of 8:52pm, there's a Speed restriction and Weather related on the Garden State Parkway in both directions from Southern Terminus/CR 109 in Cape May to Asbury Toll Plaza in Tinton Falls 45 miles per hour due to roadway conditions.

STARTING AT 8 PM ON TUESDAY, MARCH 20, 2018, THERE WILL BE A COMMERCIAL VEHICLE BAN IN EFFECT ON THE FOLLOWING ROADWAYS IN NEW JERSEY: INTERSTATE 78, INTERSTATE 80, INTERSTATE 280 AND INTERSTATE 287. MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO AVOID UNNECESSARY TRAVEL DURING THIS WINTER STORM.

Wow, nothing like that down here. Was out on the road from around 7:00 to 7:30 and there were no problems, just light rain and wet roads. Was a bit worried earlier because the pine trees were starting to ice up and bend, but apparently it warmed up a bit.

The current forecast has actually improved for my area, I'm right on the line between 6 and 9 inches of snow. Snow blower is still in storage, we'll see if it stays there....

Its the icing that is bad, snow can be dealt with, ice not so much. Winds have started already and the 2 lows are still merging off NC. More roads are lowering the speed limit.

It's been a dud so far. Not much on the ground here yet, maybe 3"- 4". Worked all day with a skeleton office crew.

Same here, tree's are hangin' really low, yet the stuff looks light and fluffy. I'd guess maybe 3-4".

There was 6 inches here at around 6PM and we have had at least 2 more since then.

I used my grandsons baseball bat to fling it several feet in the air to knock the snow off the cable line. It worked, but the bat ended up deep in the snow among the brush in the woods. I thought, now I've done it, that will be there till Spring. But then I remembered today's date.

I am near Lindenwold and Cherry Hill and the 8 inches is about right. Still snowing hard and our cars which were completely cleaned off a few hours ago are fully covered again. I bet we have at least 9. My wife just got the call that school is closed tomorrow. Her and Jessica are off again. Most around us are 2 hours late.
