The joy may be short-lived. I was advised late today that he intends to install another gate further into the woods on the same road; possibly as soon as tomorrow. It ain't over yet.
Yes they have Guy and I hope they don't give up if the gate again blocks access to the public lands. As I said before his property does not cross that road so if he does it again it should come down.
In any event, at this point in time from what we know the state appears to have worked hard at this.
Where is the new gateNew gate is up and it's location doesn't sound good.
I wonder if the original gate was on the ROW for 206Scott said it is just a few hundred or so feet in.
The ballparked distance I got Guy from my buddy who went in to see it late Thursday was 1000' but he also gave a vivid description of the spot that I easily recognized. I will post a map in a few minutes with a pin.Scott said it is just a few hundred or so feet in.
Perhaps nothing is what I am hoping. The State can't let up on this.....What makes this one more legal
No they can’tPerhaps nothing is what I am hoping. The State can't let up on this.
Those heavy steel gate posts are still in place at RT 206.
