High Crossing never disappoints

Near there but I believe all of these pics are along the regularly used road to High Crossing that remains open. "Quarter Mile" is a the closed area and it is a little west of this. It can be accessed from High Crossing.
I think his right tire is just hanging really low.
Why would anybody drive through that mess? Seriously, someone needs to put a sign up: "Not a good idea. This means you."

is this the puddle just north of High Crossing headed to Carranza road?If so I won't be using that route anymore.Theres a way to the east and west to avoid it but the western route can be quite nasty at times also.
Given the body is level, his Ram may have the air suspension option. Doubt he was going fast enough to break something, perhaps the axle is hung up.
The warning signs are readily visible, no need to post another one. Besides, we wouldn't get to see these great pics

Having braved a ton of these "puddles" all over the Pines, always very cautiously and apprehensively, I've wondered about how and where they form and get to this sorry state. Seems they're always where the water table is right at ground level, or even at an occasional water runoff route. If so, keeping them accessible to "ordinary" vehicles sounds like a never-ending job.
Yes it is Al! You either have to use via Sawdust Pile Road into there or The Railroad Right Of Way. Those puddles have been fixed many after many times and the ORV's just tear more and more up. It is so sad that places I used to travel in two wheel drive is lost and gone.
i remember driving through that puddle no problem a few years ago.it's a wonder no one has made a go around.
My only question is Why???? Just why would you attemp that lake with ice on it????? Unreal!
Tried getting near there Sunday from Bulldozer Rd and I bailed at two chunked up holes that are 1/10th the size of the High Crossing crater
And the answer would be the same as mountain climbers say....."because it's there", besides we have 4wd. In my younger days I did the same so I guess I shouldn't poke fun.
This has a chance to maybe help out when stuck in the warner weather.
