One of the most powerful songs I've ever heard.

Winter passed without a glaze, took our only boy at last
You cried God's arms were a blind an' bleeding ocean
Blooming spring brought all I need
Warmth and rain for me to seed my earth, good earth for our boy to lie in
In the summer I worked the land
She walked like she still held his hand
And I swear to God I saw her once or twice a'smiling.
In the autumn, my gold wheat swaying,
I cut her down from where she was swinging
She said: Goddamn you, Jim, up there I could hear him laughing

I miss the Floyd laser light shows at Fels Planitarium. It was fun to go to the midnight show at the Franklin Institute. I don't know why the shows stopped. The planitarium was packed everytime we went.

Thought you all might get a kick out of this. My old bass player from a cover band I was in in the early 2000's just uploaded some old footage of us. In the off season (not summer) we played locally. This was us at the Indian Chief Tavern on route 70. We are doing Heartbreaker by Led Zep, complete with epic guitar cadenza! We didn't get to do cool stuff like Zep at the shore clubs much so we took advantage of it in the local bars. For those of you who don't know me, I'm the guitar player with the long hair and leather pants. It is a pretty bad recording and we were probably drunk, but it is fun to watch. RIP to my old singer.
