Storm moving through here right now, heading North. No wind or thunder but pretty heavy rain. Could get a significant amount through tomorrow morning.

It rained in the night here. I woke up and had to close the window. Received .11 inches.

I have been misreading it. At midnight it reverts back to zero so we had .11 after midnight and before midnight we had almost 3/8 of an inch.

She bought the one at the link below. They have other units.

The "learning" feature has some issues as it sometimes thinks it is going to rain and it obviously isn't. It takes a week or two for it to analyze the weather in the area before it starts predicting the weather.

And the tilt angle of the monitor is designed for when you are standing up in the room looking at it. If you are sitting down it is hard to see. Basically, if you sit the unit on a shelf near the floor the screen is perfectly clear. However, our heater duct was right there so the readings were not accurate. So we put it higher and have it tilted forward.

Looking straight on.

In any event, we enjoy it. I check it constantly.

lt's all to the West of me, and the way it's moving makes me wonder if I will get any rain at all? It is missing most of the Pines completely (so far).
