Man, it was really pounding down here for awhile, front is moving out now and it has stopped. The garbageman left the can open and it looked like over two inches of water in the bottom.
The rain messed with the computer on my car somehow, was pouring when I went out an hour ago and got a whole string of errors from the airbags, ABS, etc. when I started it. Everything was OK yesterday and it ran fine so I drove about 5 miles on an errand. Afterwards, no more errors... weird.
Roads were flooding when I was out, getting a bit deep in a couple spots. Turns out that I was right in the middle of this:

- At 1242 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly across portions of the advisory area. Between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen.

Atlantic City, Pleasantville, Hammonton, Buena, Egg Harbor
City, Weymouth, Estell Manor, Port Republic, Corbin City,
